FFA Alumni set to kick-off Harvest for America Food Drive
The
Georgia FFA Alumni and Georgia FFA will hold the Harvest for America
Food Drive on Thurs., April 22 during the Georgia FFA Convention. FFA
members and FFA Alumni affiliates are asked to donate canned goods
that will be donated to the Macon Area Community Food Bank. The FFA
Chapter that brings the most cans to the 2010 Georgia FFA State Convention
will receive one Washington Leadership Conference scholarship valued
at $550. View

All award applications for Legion of Merit,
Outstanding Achievement Award, Outstanding Distinguished Contributor
Award, Outstanding Agricultural Instructor Award, Outstanding FFA Alumni
Affiliate and Outstanding Pioneer FFA Alumni Affiliate must be submitted
by April 15. Click

FFA
Alumni Baskets, Scrapbooks and Display Boards to be judged at state
convention
Entries in the FFA Alumni basket, scrapbook
and display contest will be judged during the Georgia FFA & FFA Alumni
State Convention, April 22-24, 2010 in Macon, Ga. The winning baskets
receive a WLC or FFA Alumni Development Conference scholarship. All
entries need to be delivered outside of Exhibit Hall at the Macon Coliseum
Thurs., April 22, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. For additional

Volunteerism
Training Modules
The National FFA Alumni Association, in cooperation with Purdue
University's Youth Development and Agricultural Education Department
has produced ten training modules that cover a wide range of volunteer
development topics that encourages the enhanced utilization of
volunteers within the FFA organization. The training modules have
been adapted for three different audiences: preservice, inservice
and volunteers. View
